For this rattle I used basically this pattern (head, eye patch, ear, tail): https://www.ollieholly.com/blog/2019/03/19/free-raccoon-amigurumi-pattern
I added the neck, which was just 9 single crochet in the end of the head pattern.
Nose: with white: magic ring of 5 stiches (5)
Decrease, 1 single crochet, decrease (3)
Change to black, decrease (1)
I used the same pattern for polar bear and panda, just in case of polar bear everything was made of white yarn.

I wanted to make some rattles for my little one. I ordered some wooden rings (5 cm), and used the pattern below. I did the head, ears and the tail only.
It is recommended to have high contrast things around the baby in the first 3 months, so I focus on black and white toys in the beginning.

I choose a really special animal this time.
As of 2020, wild axolotls were near extinction due to urbanization in Mexico City and consequent water pollution, as well as the introduction of invasive species. They are listed as critically endangered in the wild, with a decreasing population of around 50 to 1000 adult individuals, by the IUCN. Axolotls are used extensively in scientific research due to their ability to regenerate limbs, gills and parts of their eyes and brains. Axolotls were also sold as food in Mexican markets and were a staple in the Aztec diet.

I know it seems a bit creapy, but I wanted to make a spider for my little daughter, so that she will not be afraid of them later. We will see how will it work.
